IN THE HEART OF NIAGARA COUNTY, Niagara's Lazy Lakes Resort is just a few minutes' drive from the Canadian border, Lake Ontario, and world famous Niagara Falls and Seneca Niagara Casino.

Fine restaurants and golf courses are plentiful in the area, but the big attraction is, of course, Niagara Falls. This thundering wall of water is a wonder of the world. It's breathtaking by day, by night, from above by helicopter or elevator, from below by catwalk, or by the popular “Maid of the Mist" tour boat.

Get closer than you ever thought possible to the grandeur of the Falls at Niagara Falls State Park, the oldest State Park in America. There you will find Prospect Point and Observation Tower, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island (in the middle of the falls), Terrapin Point, Three Sisters Islands, and Luna Island.

The Niagara Power Project Visitors Center offers energy exhibits, movies, a history of Niagara Power, and an observation deck with a marvelous view of the gorge.

Visit the Aquarium of Niagara on Whirlpool Street in Niagara Falls. Feed the penguins or see a sea lion show.

Head to the Niagara River Region and enjoy the “most historical square mile in America”, the Village of Lewiston. Here you will experience the charm of the quaint village that boasts small shops, dining and history.

The Niagara Wine Trail, USA is one of the fastest-growing wine regions in New York State. Home to a diverse crop of wineries and vineyards, offering an impressive selection of traditional, native, late harvest and ice wines.

Our Lady of Fatima Shrine between Lewiston and Youngstown is an outdoor cathedral where visitors can see a dome of translucent glass that depicts the world. The grounds facing the dome form a garden with 100 Lifesize Carrara marble statues. There's also a cafeteria and gift shop.

Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown saw service under French, English, and American flags, and from July 1 through Labor Day visitors can witness military drills and demonstrations by costumed soldiers.
